Ian crossed the bar on November the 30th 2011,
quite suddenly, totally unexpected. His funeral was on the 15th of December. a quiet family affair at Chatham. A wreath was laid on behalf of the association, and a tribute in flowers in the form of a white ensign was then placed at the Great Lines. Still can't believe it.

I hope that I have picked individuals of the various Naval Associations and Work Places who can let all who knew Pat, by contacting as many as possible their mail lists, get the sad news of her passing. I just hope that I have not missed anyone, but if I have please forward the news.
She gave up last night after five years of hard fighting the cancer, and lost the final battle - She'd taken enough.
The funeral details have not yet been arranged, but can be had from 'Jim Clark - Funeral Directors - 15 High Street, Nairn - Tel - 01667-453234.
Regards
Ian

Errol was not a member of the RNCA but I joined up with him in Nov 62 at Ganges and the for a few years on the Scarborough (63/64). Not sure when he left the Pusser but he went back to S Ireland.
Sadly I learned via his daugher Hazel that Errol crossed the bar in June this year from a lung infection. Apparently it was very unexpected.
RIP - Taff Thomas 692
For those of you who are not members of the RNCCA, or haven't read their website would like to report that Pete Underwood passed away in Dec. He and I served together in RNCC Singapore in the late 60s and he lived locally to me so we occasionally saw each other around the town

It is with sadness that I have learnt that ex FCCY A D (Tony)PARKINSON MBE Crossed the Bar on 26th November 2010. This information has been gleaned from the RNCCA website. Although he was not an RNCA member,I'm sure many of our members will have encountered Tony during their Naval Careers.
